Valentine's Day

For the people who love and believe in love, everyday is Valentine's day. But for those who love someone but can't gather the courage to express themselves, Valentine's day is the best motivation humankind invented. To everyone who believes in love, who once loved or are loving someone, and to those believe to have loved someone deeply without ever being able to express themselves, I decided to write a few words about love on Valentine's Day.

A year ago, I had a different opinion about love and I believed I was right. But time and experience led me to a conclusion that I was utterly wrong. I used to believe that If you can define love with logic, then you know you are in love. But as I said, I was mistaken. Today, I believe that if you can define and reason why you love someone or like someone, it is merely a crush. Not love. If you are unsure about why you love someone, then that, my friends, could very well be love.

Life goes on regardless of your relationship status on Facebook, but life can become wonderful when there is someone with whom you can cherish its moments. To my friends who are single and to my friends who are in a relationship, and also to those who are single but not ready to commit yet, I have few words to wish for all of you guys. I wish that you all be with someone who can love you for who you are, who can make you smile when you are low and wipe down the tears before they fall and who will motivate you to bring out the best versions of yourselves.

I wish that on Valentine's Day 40 years from now, you guys can tell your grand-kids the beautiful stories of struggle and love and how every block of jenga awkwardly stood together in the end to build that kinda-flawed but still perfect tower of your relationship.
